Chapter 4

The First Cause

God can be called the First Cause.

But does the First Cause still have its "own" cause?

I am asking such a logical question, because everything, even the universe, should have its cause.

The scientific universe is described as space-time, where everything is interconnected, creating a chain of causality.

However, in a state beyond time and space, where time does not pass and there are no points of attachment, such a chain of causality does not work.

Because God exists beyond time and space, He is not subject to the principle of causality functioning only in space-time. There is therefore no "His own" reason. In summary, God is a perfect and absolute God with no beginning or end, and therefore cannot have any "His" cause.

He, Himself is the absolute First Cause.

Chapter 5

The Creator - The Original Being

This study performs a logical analysis of religious concepts based on the latest scientific achievements. In particular, this concerns the possibility of God-Creator existence. It is during the search for facts that testify to His presence that knowledge from theoretical astrophysics and quantum physics may come in handy. By accepting the Active Observer – the Creator, it will be easier to accept the necessity of the existence of the Initial Cause for the existence of all things. I will therefore look for the One for Whom space-time is the result of His activity, while He alone can infinitively exist beyond time and space.

The state beyond time and space is an important term for the "place of residence" of the sought Creator. This is one of the most important concepts of this study, apart from Original Being. This state is best called the sphere, with the reservation that it is not about a limited space, but about the eternal and boundless state of reality. It surrounds the space-time universe from everywhere. It also eludes our imagination, because it transcends everything that our brain can imagine. Besides, the very existence of the Original Being is beyond our imagination. However, these difficulties should not prevent me from analyzing this state and in examining the individual qualities of the sought Creator.

Before I present the whole of the topics described above, I would like to present my vision of the universe contained in this study even more accurately. It defines my perspective on religious and philosophical problems in the form resembling scientific analysis. In connection with this and the need to systematize this method, I introduce the name essenceizm. This is a new concept, used only for me by now, meaning an analytical system based on logic, and intended to study peculiarities beyond time and space. This system prepares tools for the analysis of non-material phenomena, called spiritual ones, in order to form them into a unified theory.

This system is derived from the fundamental assumption that the source of everything is the Original Being. He is the Absolute, the Perfection and the Beginning of everything, the First Cause. In principle, He has always existed, that is, from infinity. It will also last forever, or endlessly. In all analyzes of essenceism, I invariably follow this basic assumption. I check every view, theory or theorem in relation to the necessary qualities of the Original Being, identified in my study with the concept of God-Creator.

I must now explain why I assumed this assumption. I did it because the existence of God is not a problem of faith for me, but a logical necessity. I rejected the idea that the universe was made of nothing. In this situation, without the Creator's recognition as the Initial Necessity, I would not be able to explain the fact of the existence of the universe, and in particular the circumstances of the creation of matter. The same applies to the existence of life. In this case, the presence of the Creator is also some necessity. Of course, my assumption will be verified during the analysis of the hypothesis that such a causal being could actually create the universe, life and people. For now, let it be just a theory.

What does it mean that God is the Creator? Essenceism states that the Original Being is the creator of time and space. This means that by acting outside of time and space, He initiated time and space filled with various forms of energy and matter. In short, He created the space-time of universe.

The most important notion in the search for the Original Being is infinity, whose existence is acknowledged not only by scientists, but also in the universal human consciousness. It is quite easy for us to accept infinity oriented towards the future. We feel subconsciously that the universe will last forever, because even if there is a cataclysm on Earth and life will disappear on it, in the scale of the entire cosmos it will be an almost imperceptible incident. There are no premises to deny the permanent, imperishable duration of the universe. It is much harder to accept and understand the infinity oriented in the opposite direction, i.e. facing the past. We will always ask ourselves a question, which is very logical, which was before. Even the statement that God has always existed will entail the same question as before or where this eternal beginning is. Of course, infinity has no end, but it also has no beginning and it is the most difficult to accept.

All the arguments used in this study lead to the basic theorem that the Creator, or the Original Being, must be associated with the sought-after transcendent sphere: unlimited in nothing and infinite from backward infinity to infinity in the unimaginable future. At the present level of development of our civilization, only such a Creator should be accepted by the logically thinking inhabitant of the Earth.

He links each authentic creator to his work with an inseparable bond. The more the author gets involved in his creative act, the more he is related to it. The most engaged artist reflects all his skills and emotions in his work, just himself. In the case of God, His action usually has the character of a creative process that affects the entire future. If He has already done something and decides that it is good, then in this way He determines the state of perfection and establishes the binding norm. It is best to give it the name of God's Law written in large letters to emphasize its uniqueness and eternal validity. Throughout this study, I call God's law what people identify with the Word of God, that is, content objectively reaching people through written revelations. By analyzing certain biblical records, we can partially recognize the elements of the God’s Law. Particularly important information was found in the teachings of Jesus Christ. Also, the Koran's records give us some idea of the values we seek from God. We can also find them in other recognized religious records. All of them should aim at building a comprehensive picture of knowledge about values associated with God.

In addition to the term God's Law, I use the terms God's Principles in my texts. They mark the timeless state of reality which the Creator has shaped. The rule, written in large letters, is that God is the absolute, perfection and infinity. Among other things, it is also the fact that man was created in the image and likeness of the Original Being, that is, he comes directly from him who is called the Heavenly Father by Christians. These Principles, unlike His Laws, are adopted intuitively, because this is how our heart and understanding of timeless values tell us, even though such behavior should be considered "unscientific".

To sum up the previous claims, we must admit that God is the most perfect Creator, Artist and Father.

Chapter 6

God’s Omnipotence - Energy of the First Cause

For the sake of the credibility of this study, one should ask the question: how does this established Causal Being, which is also the source of all things, carry out its activity? Does He have the type of creative building material associated with the proper creative power that we know? As part of the answer to these questions, there is a need to find some point of attachment, from which one could begin to know something existing beyond time and space, and at the same time Someone invisible, more powerful than anything else.

This point of entry, and at the same time the starting point for further steps, should be energy.

Energy is a quantity or a state that does not quite fit into the laws of physics we know. It is the primary energy, not yet processed in any other form. Scientists, unable to determine its original character, call it a peculiarity. You could say that because it is both physical and metaphysical in the sense of what is beyond physics. This means that it is a phenomenon that functions both in space-time and beyond time and space. For science, we discover it only when it appears on the borderline of the world of physics, as if out of nowhere. Then we learn about its advanced transformations in the form of nuclear, thermal, kinetic or potential energy. Only then can we speak about the existence of measurable energy in time and space. We can analyze it, measure it and convert it into other physical values. However, when we return to its original form, it escapes from the control of existing research tools, because it behaves differently from all other typical physical quantities. It remains undetermined, even mysterious, such as dark energy. You cannot create it in any other way than by transforming it from another form. You cannot add anything to it to increase its quantity in the universe. In the end, you cannot destroy it, because it would require moving it out of the universe.

In the universe, we are constantly changing matter into energy or some form of energy into others. However, we cannot change energy into matter. However, such a fact occurred in the case of the Big Bang and on a cosmic scale. People did not do it nor could it be the same. Some scientists say that the universe could have created itself. In my study I do not use irrational methods. The main research motive for me is both a rational argument, that is, that the universe could not arise from nothing, and empirically, that so far no case has been found that something could arise from nothing. Since I cannot include miracles in my argumentation, I am obliged to state that the universe must have a source of energy. I identify it with the Energy of the First Cause, also called God's Omnipotence, which is the basic attribute of the Creator.

If such An Original Being, which presents essenceism, really exists, then it should be "integrated" with "creative material", that is, have the Energy of the First Cause. As it has already been marked, this Energy must be His necessary attribute. We can say that if we came to the conclusion that everything had to come from energy. The energy of the First Cause functions both in the sphere beyond time and space as well as in the sphere of space-time, while in the latter it transforms into specific forms of energy or matter learned and analyzed by scientific methods. You can also guess that some of its states are in the form of dark energy or dark matter. We no longer have to believe that there was an inexplicable miracle of creating the world out of nothing. The situation described above allows nowadays to make progress in a fuller understanding of God as the Eternal Source of all things, that is our Creator. In further parts of this study I will use more "religious" concepts. For example, I will call the universe the physical world and the realm beyond the time and space of the spiritual world.

Chapter 7

The Universe “exists” in the Original Being

In the previous chapters I showed that the existing "everywhere" outside the cosmos the invisible sphere beyond time and space is the state of the direct presence of the Personality of God.

The above thesis leads to the statement that the universe exists as a structure surrounded by a sphere beyond time and space. From this in turn follows the logical conclusion that the universe is as if located in God, means in Him "stuck".

Human reasoning, functioning most often in three-dimensional space, creates the vision of God as a Being residing "somewhere" in space. The time has come to finally say goodbye to this vision, although our imagination is still attached to the "earthly" ways of imaging. Meanwhile, in the case of the image of Original presented to me, this vision needs to be moved beyond time and space, which requires us to open ourselves to the infinite. Only then will our senses show us the ubiquity of Original Being, and the universe will be a creation embedded in His sphere.

big-bang_2a_universe_small_with comment

I used such a scheme to illustrate that the universe is “flying” or "floating" in the sphere beyond time and space, that is, it "stuck in" in transcendental spaces.

Returning to the thesis of this topic, it becomes logical that God, as the Spiritual Personality possessing the Energy of the First Cause, fills Himself directly with everything that is beyond the time-space of the universe. Therefore, we can say that the entire space-time structure of the universe must "stay within" its Creator.

The above theorems can be compared to the situation in which the human body during "biological life" is "stuck" in the physical space that surrounds us or "floats" in it.

The sign of the indirect presence of God "inside" the universe is the universality of the universal laws and principles that exist in all of us. We rationally see them as the laws of physics, chemistry or biology that we learn scientifically. However, our open imagination can cause us to see in them the influence of Intellect, Emotion and Will of God, although these attributes of the Creator are not so easily explained intellectually.

I base my claim on the observation of human personality. I sense that we have inherited in our primordial nature the basic attributes of the Divine Personality, that is, His Intelligence, Will and Emotionality. Because of It, we need a knowledge and understanding of the universe and the need for purposefulness and sense of all actions. Still other sensations are associated with the feeling of joy, which is the source of love from the Creator. It is this understanding of His attributes that allows us to know, at least partially, the qualities of God, which I will then define in the form of specific Principles.

For what I have presented, to have practical meaning, I will put the above claims into two simple conclusions: Laws and Principles from the Creator are the source of laws and principles that surround us, and His Original Energy generates all existing forms of energy and matter. In this way, I understand the indirect presence of God in the universe.

Directly, the Personality of God fills up completely everything that surrounds our universe. This should reach our imagination as a true picture of the presence of God - the Original Being. In this way, we will always have our unchanging Creator before us. This is how the Personality of God impresses its mark on all of the universe.
